About the Retreat
Retreat Description
Busy schedules and work and home life responsibilities make it difficult for many couples to make “fun” a priority in their marriage. We understand that careers, children, and daily chores can keep couples from “playing” together, so we created Romantic Adventure, a retreat for couples to step out of their comfort zones and bring aspects of adventure to light again. They’ll reconnect in a new, exciting way, and learn how to prioritize time to “play” in their day-to-day lives, so their marital health is strengthened.
Attending the Romantic Adventure retreat will give you and your spouse an opportunity to:
- Experience WinShape Retreat in a new way while still enjoying the beauty and hospitality that WinShape has to offer
- Grow in your marriage by accomplishing challenges together
- Return home with practical tools and encouragement for your marriage
Adventure Focus: Couples Quest
Do you and your spouse need more adventure in your life? Have we got the weekend for you! Join us for Romantic Adventure: Couples Quest, a physically active retreat where you’ll explore the entire WinShape campus by following clues to different waypoints. You’ll choose the level of difficulty as you complete mental and physical challenges that encourage you to laugh, learn, and love each other in a new way. Come prepared to play outdoors, rain or shine!
(NOTE: This retreat is new for 2022. The Romantic Adventure retreat that was offered prior to 2022 is now called Vision for Your Marriage.)
