About the Retreat
Approximately one-third of all weddings in the U.S. create a blended family. The challenges faced by blended families are unique and complicated. Through this weekend retreat, national expert Ron Deal guides couples as they face complex challenges and learn to become a blended family.
He explains, “One of the things we know about blended families is that the smarter they are about what is happening in their home, the dynamics of their home and how they can craft and weave that in merging the members of their family, the better things go. When you walk with God in wisdom about your family, marriages do well, families do well, kids do better and the home becomes a redemptive home. Stepfamilies that don’t do that well have lots of difficulties. That’s what this weekend is about – helping couples know what to do to move their marriage and their family forward.”
This weekend retreat is ideal for stepfamily couples, empty-nest remarried couples, couples preparing to enter a stepfamily and step-grandparents.
