Joe Moore
Spiritual Director
Joe served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for forty-four years. He served in various leadership roles including Associate Regional Director for the Blue Ridge Region, Director of Spiritual Direction and Prayer for the Carolinas Region, and National Co-director of Spiritual Formation and Prayer.
Joe has completed two Certificates in Spiritual Formation, the first from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA and the other from the Renovare’ Institute. The Renovare’ program offered Joe the opportunity to spend several weeks with Dallas Willard, as well as other leaders in Spiritual Formation in the evangelical community. Joe is a member of the Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association.
Joe has offered Spiritual Companioning for the past seventeen years. His passion and interest has always been around the ways in which people are spiritually formed and grow increasingly into the image of Christ.
Having lived in Winston-Salem, NC since 1987, Joe and his wife Patti raised two sons, who both live in Asheville, NC. Joe has two big dogs, Jake and Shadow, and enjoys walking and exercising, camping, reading fiction, and cheering on the Everton Football Club.
