Genee Francis
Assistant Director, Content and Programming
Genee Francis is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience counseling and educating children, adolescents, and adults. She is currently completing a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling at Liberty University. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, a Master of Science in Organization Development from Friends University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma.
Genee joined the WinShape Marriage team in 2024 as the Assistant Director of Content and Programming, where she is blessed to integrate her background in education, event planning, family ministry, and counseling to serve couples. She is formally trained in evidence-based counseling modalities, specializing in trauma and attachment, and is passionate about walking alongside individuals and couples through the many seasons of their relationship journeys.
Grounded in her belief that the covenant of marriage is God’s plan for cultivating healthy families and strengthening communities, Genee’s passion for marriage ministry began with a childhood curiosity about why some marriages succeed while others fail. This curiosity evolved into a deep, personal commitment to live within a thriving marriage and help others do the same. She delights in equipping couples to build a solid, purposeful foundation that reflects God’s love and embodies true intimacy.
Outside of counseling, teaching, and creating experiences for couples, Genee’s most cherished roles are being a wife and mother. She enjoys traveling, exercising her interior design skills, event planning, reading, and creating meaningful “firsts” with her husband, Rashad, and their children, Gunnar and Rhys.
