The Pastors R&R was a much-needed time to rest and reflect on our journey with the Lord. We felt His presence and care for us in the gracious hospitality, the beautiful setting, and the company of new friends.
Not only is the WinShape Retreat Center grounds GORGEOUS(so much to see and do- get up early and watch the sunrise- you won't regret it!), and their food is INCREDIBLE, but their service and hospitality is top notch. They've literally thought of everything to make you feel comfortable and cared for.
We were exhausted and in need of rest for our bodies and souls. The R&R gave us that rest through the warmth and kindness of the hosts and WinShape staff, the incredibly beautiful setting, and lots of time to connect with fellow laborers who fully understand the unique burden of pastoring a church. This retreat is designed as a restful getaway tailored for pastors and ministry leaders to recharge and focus on their marriage. It’s an opportunity to step away from the demands of ministry and invest in your relationship with your spouse and God.
Who should attend a pastor retreat?
Senior Pastor Retreats are specifically designed for senior or lead pastors who have been serving a local church congregation for three or more years.
Who should attend a ministry leader retreat?
Ministry leader retreats are designed for those actively serving in leadership roles within ministry contexts and their spouses. This includes directors or associate pastors in full-time, paid ministry positions at a local church, such as family pastors, executive pastors, or worship pastors. Executive directors or CEOs of parachurch ministries and nonprofit organizations are also encouraged to attend. Additionally, full-time international missionaries with three or more years of service are welcome, while domestic missionaries are considered on a case-by-case basis, with preference given to those serving internationally.

Our Pastor and Ministry Leader retreats are five day, four night experiences, designed to give those in ministry plenty of space to relax and reconnect.

Our Pastor and Ministry Leader Retreats are offered in two locations, WinShape Retreat and The Lodge.
WinShape Retreat is located on the campus of Berry College in Rome, GA, approximately 1.5 hours northwest of Atlanta, GA.
The Lodge is in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, about 60 miles northeast of Orlando International Airport.
